This past weekend, Jelly Roll played the Buckeye Country Superfest in Columbus, Ohio, and the “I Am Not Okay” singer brought out a special guest that no one saw coming. Was it fellow country music star? Nope. How about an artist from a different genre? Not even that either. Before Jelly Roll brought out his special guest, he told fans that he was trying to think of the “craziest thing” he could do while performing in Ohio.
That crazy thing ended up being King Of Queens star Kevin James joining him on stage to help him sing “Need A Favor.”
James, who has starred in countless comedy classics, came out in an outfit that was pretty much exactly identical to Jelly Roll’s get up. The pair were both in all black and backward baseball caps as they brought house down at the Buckeye Country Superfest. Their duet quickly went viral online, and fans couldn’t help but notice that James and Jelly did look a bit alike:

Any movie that I see him in, he immediately lifts up the film with his performance. I’d argue he did the exact same thing here when he stepped out on stage with Jelly Roll. Obviously the matching outfits were a part of the plan… but it really was like seeing double. Or maybe the crowd thought they were seeing a Jelly Roll understudy?
Social media loved the unexpected duet, and agreed that the resemblance between Jelly Roll and Kevin James was almost uncanny:
