Her audition was on Summertime, and the performance left the audience and judges in absolute awe; however, Darci reveals this was a last-minute change — she was not supposed to sing this song! She changed the performance 5 days before the audition. But the decision paid off, and the second she started her ventriloquist act, everyone knew that something wholly unique was on display!
In the end, Darci broke into tears—but not from happiness, from relief. She explained why she felt this way. Before, she had only performed in small, close-up settings. So, standing in front of 3,000 people was already a huge challenge. Then, the standing ovation made it even more overwhelming. And the biggest surprise? The Golden Buzzer, which changed everything!
