Sydnie Christmas to lead 101 Dalmatians musical in London
Following her highly successful UK solo tour, it has recently been announced that Britain’s Got Talent winner Sydnie Christmas will step into the iconic role of Cruella De Vil in the West End transfer of 101 Dalmatians The Musical at the Eventim Apollo. The production, running for a limited six-week engagement from July 18 to August 30, promises to showcase yet another facet of Sydnie’s remarkable versatility.
“I can’t wait to sink my teeth into this iconic character! There’s a bit of me that I see in Cruella, so I’m excited to see her evolve,” Sydnie shared, expressing her enthusiasm for the role.
101 Dalmatians The Musical is a new adaptation of Dodie Smith’s beloved classic, with music and lyrics by Douglas Hodge and book by Johnny McKnight, adapted for the stage by Zinnie Harris.
The production is directed by Bill Buckhurst and features a creative team including set designer David Woodhead, costume designer Sarah Mercadé, choreographer Lucy Hind, and musical supervision by Alfonso Casado Trigo, among others.
